  • Validate Your Feelings: Injustice can leave you feeling angry, hurt, or lost. Those feelings are valid. Give yourself permission to feel them.

  • Practice Self-Care: Doing things that nourish your mind, body, and soul is crucial for healing. Prioritize rest, healthy habits, and activities that bring you joy.

  • Seek Support: You don't have to go through this alone. Talk to a trusted friend, family member, therapist, or support group.

  • Forgive Yourself: The journey to healing may not be linear. Forgive yourself for setbacks and celebrate your progress.

  • Focus on What You Can Control: While you can't change the past, you can choose your present and future actions. Focus on what empowers you.

  • Embrace the Power of "No": You don't have to explain your boundaries or justify your needs. Taking care of yourself is a right, not a privilege.
